در خطرناک بودن این ویروس ، شک نکنید!
اختلالاتی که تا کنون مشاهده شده:
- غیرفعال کردن دکمه shutdown در دکمه start
- غیرفعال کردن dialup به هنگام اتصال به اینترنت و نمایش error
- اعلام خاموش شدن خودکار سیستم در 60 ثانیه - مثل ویروس blaster
- غیرفعال کردن ذخیره سازی پسوردها در dialup های موجود در سیستم
راه انتقال: نامشخص - هر سیستم متصل به اینترنت - Internet

Microsoft warns dangerous Sasser worm spreading on the net

A SECURITY WARNING from Microsoft and from AV companies said that the W32.sasser.worm and variants are marching across the Internet.
It affects Windows 2000, 2003 and Windows XP, but SE, Win95, ME and NT appear to be impervious to its coilings. Microsoft said that if you have downloaded patch relating to Security Update MS04-011, HERE, you will be safe from this worm.
Microsoft describes it as a critical vulnerability.
The worm proliferates by using vulnerabilities in software and has a similar modus operandi to the extremely pernicious Blaster worm.
